Overwhelmed with the response of his new chat show ‘Get Access With Anuj’, television’s heartthrob, Swaragini actor, Anuj Sachdeva to try stand-up comedy & soon start his channel.
With the digital space booming, the opportunities for new-comers have widened & also for our commercially hit actors who are now taking the digital route trying things never seen on television before. Post a successful career in modelling & in TV commercials, Anuj became a household name playing prominent roles in some of television’s hit shows and also has to his credit two Bollywood and two super hit Punjabi films respectively. Anuj lately has been busy with ‘Get Access with Anuj’, a new-age digital chat show playing himself, in the role of a host inviting self-made personalities from different walks of life.
With messages flooding in, the actor has promised his fans to do something even more exciting on the digital space soon. Anuj shares his excitement, ‘This show has opened doors of opportunities. I want to do things I’ve never done before. My friends think I’ll make to be an awesome stand-up comedian. I would love to enroll myself for open mic nights that are hosted at various watering holes in the city. If it hits the right note, I would love to take it to the digital space. I have modeled, I act, now hosting, I have also been an RJ… There’s so much more to explore.’
Anuj believes Get Access with Anuj has changed him in ways more than one, ‘I am an introvert by nature. I talk less and I have very few friends. But through the chat show I have discovered a new side to me where I am able to engage the guests in constant banter. I do talk now about a variety of things and I am at ease doing that.’
‘I’ve immense respect for stand-up comedians & feel they are doing a fabulous job. No matter what goes on in the inside, one has to put on a smile on the outside. It is something to make people laugh. My friends are always smiling & laughing around me. I think I do cut to be a stand-up comedian. I need to keep trying new things to be able to stimulate my mind creatively.’
