After the successful two seasons of erotica themed web series Gandii Baat, the makers have launched the third season very recently. Actress Shikha Thakur, who was earlier seen in popular television shows like Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai and Jijaji Chhat Par Hai plays a role of a bus attender in the web series. Her famous dialogue where she says “Hello!!!!” in the erotic manner caught a lot of attention.
On her experience of shooting Gandii Baat 3, Shikha says, “We had a lot of fun as our unit was really cooperative. I think when you enjoy your work, it becomes fun. Even our director Sachin Mohite sir knows how to handle actors. He was super cool with every actor on the sets and if I’ll get an opportunity, I would love to work with him again.”
Ekta Kapoor and her digital banner ALT Balaji has given many hit web series among which Gandii Baat is one of them. “Balaji is the biggest platform and I feel really lucky to work with them. Ekta Kapoor is the queen of our industry and every actor wants to work with her. It was like my dream has come true. Also, now I feel I have become a complete actor after Balaji’s project,” shares Shikha.
“I went for an audition and after few days, I got a call from them and they said we are starting the shoot after three days,” she adds.
Talking about her forthcoming projects, she says, “Several new projects are coming back to back though. I will reveal very soon once my director or producers will allow me to talk about them.”
Earlier seen in a popular show Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai, Shikha reminds of her journey with the show, she says, Bhabhi ji is like my home, I feel very comfortable there since I started my career from there. The magician Shashank sir, who directs the show, co-actors Rohit sir, Asif sir, I feel proud that I had worked with such talented people. When I joined Gandii Baat shoot, I was unknown there but the team made me comfortable. It was my good fortune that my character was funny and cool which I already played many times in my previous show so I performed very easily.”
