After the stupendous success of Heropanti and Baaghi , Tiger Shroff teams up with Sabbir Khan for Munna Michael ,as the filmmaker presents him like never before.
This time around however, there is a special surprise in Nawazuddin Siddiqui who gets out of his comfort zone as he shakes a leg with Tiger , giving “bromance” a whole new definition.
Coupled with great music, hi-octane action and a gorgeous new comer Niddhi Agerwal ,the film is the perfect Bollywood entertainer ! No wonder then that Munna Michael , which released nationwide yesterday , made a splash at the box office , with a beeline at single-screen theatres. A few single screens even registered occupancy over 90%.
Says trade expert Amod Mehra, “Munna Michael will have its own set of loyal audience in the single-screens”.
Maratha Mandir and Gaiety Galaxy owner, Manoj Desai said, “Munna Michael has opened extraordinarily. Theatres are almost housefull. ”
The film collected approximately 6.65 crore on Day- 1 , despite a big ticket Hollywood release and is estimated to do even better business over the weekend.
Trade Expert Akshaye Rathi says, “Munna Michael is doing very well at massy centres. However, the Hollywood release Dunkirk has opened up to phenomenal business at multiplexes. So it’s a fairly mixed bag this week. None of them is a Baahubali or a Tubelight, but they have really good potential. “
