MB Music has released another soulful romantic song -“Mujhe Kaise, Pata Na Chala”; on 10th December, 2018. The audience will get to enjoy the melody in Papon’s voice, with composition by the Meet Bros. The song video features TikTok app sensation, Manjul Khattar and LIKE app star, Rits (Ritika) Badiani. As the song name suggests, it’s a story about young innocent love and the inevitable heartache, where the guy fails to realise the girls love for him.
Director & Label Head, Raajeev Sharma said, “This song has everything that our audience loves; from Papon’s magical voice, to Meet Bros’ beautiful composition to the subtle chemistry between Manjul and Rits.”Full song audio was released on the Gaana app on 3rd December, followed by the video teaser two days later. Papon said, ” I have been really excited about this song since the day it came to me. The song audio got a fantastic reaction and I’m glad that people are loving the music video as well.”
On being asked, Manmeet Singh said, “The best feeling is when you compose something and a singer comes along takes the song to a different level; that’s what Papon did with his singing. For the Music video, we thought it would be a good variation to have two teenagers for a matured song like this, written by Kumaar, whose lyrics are very relatable and touching. All these factors together worked for the song which is why the video has gone viral. It’s crazy for a romantic song to hit 4Million in about 2 days.”
Adding to this, Harmeet Singh says, “After the successes of Baby Doll and Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan, we were pretty much labeled as the party composers; but we feel our biggest strength is romance and with this song we have laid the foundation for more soulful music. Being a huge admirer of Sri Jagjit Singh ji, this is a genre we were waiting to explore and it’s a great start with MKPNC.”
Rajiv Roda along with team OnBoard films has been the creative minds behind the video production. “It’s always a pleasure to work with MB Music and Meet Bros. They are always open to creative experiments and new ideas.” Said Rajiv. Ashish Sharma from team OnBoad Films said, “There’s a different kind of energy when you’re working with younger artists. Manjul and Rits were fantastic to shoot with. And we feel lucky to have gotten the opportunity to work with MB Music & the Meet Bros. again, soon after Main Jaandiyaan.”
For every Meet Bros and MB Music fan, it’s about time now that you tune-in to the YouTube channel and feel the love in the air!!
