Tulsi Kumar wins IIFA Award 2017 for Best Playback Singer

Singer Tulsi Kumar bagged the award for the Best Female Playback Singer for her song ‘Soch Na Sake’ from the film ‘Airlift’ at the recently concluded 18th edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2017 in New York. Tulsi who has completed a decade in the Indian music industry has crooned to hits like ‘Soch Na Sake’, ‘Sanam Re’ and ‘Tum Jo Aaye’ among others.
Tulsi who has been conquering hearts across the globe with her mellifluous voice began the year with the chartbuster dance number ‘Gulabi 2.0’ in ‘Noor’ and featured in the music video of her latest single ‘Mera Highway Star’ with rapper Raftaar & sister Khushali Kumar. Her song ‘Soch Na Sake’ has not just won her accolades but also garnered tremendous praise & appreciation.
Talking about her win at the 18th IIFA Awards 2017, she asserts, “I am extremely overwhelmed to have won this award. The adulation and awards that I receive push me to keep working harder and give my best each time.”
