Union Finance Minister for state , Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla released a film yesterday “ Green footprints on the sands of time” for which Script , Music & Direction has been done by Anwesh I.R.S, Deputy Commissioner , GST.
The film was released in the presence of Shri. S. Ramesh, Chairman , Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs ( CBIC) and other senior officials of the department.
Anwesh who is currently posted in Pune as Deputy Commissioner, GST is a not only a dashing officer but also a film maker and has made many films including film on Swaach Bharat and composed GST awareness Zingle which was played on various channels across the country.
Anwesh , is from the 2013 batch of UPSC and is also a musician and bachelor in performing arts , the only person with such a degree in the civil service fraternity.
His films for the department have been appreciated all across the country.
His current film “Green footprints on the sands of time “ documents the Green and environmental friendly infrastructure for training built at National Academy of Indirect Taxes and Customs ( NACIN ) , Bengaluru, a state of art training centre under CBIC , Ministry of Finance.
Promoting the concept of green consciousness , Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi has a guest appearance in the film and recites a poetry which has a message for conserving environment and adopting green values .
It is also pertinent to mention that Deputy Commissioner , Anwesh has made several short films and composed music on various social issues which has received much appreciation in various film festivals and forums.
