HIMANSHI FROM THE PINK CITY OF JAIPUR RADIATES HER SMILE IN THE INDUSTRY

To Himanshi, who hails from the Pink city of Jaipur and made her way to achieve her ambition, her struggle has been as vital as her achievement to reach her goal at such a young age. And she has made an identity of her own on the basis of her struggle and hard work. Himanshi had started modelling even while she was studying in her college in Jaipur, where she participated in a contest and won the prize , as a result fo which she got an opportunity to feature in print ads as well as catalogs.

Says Himanshi, who also did ramp modelling in Delhi and Jaipur. “After this, the desire to act was kindled in my heart and I joined the theater, acted in many plays and took part in acting workshops to learn the nuances of the craft of acting. I came to Mumbai after a year and a half and started giving auditions to various production houses. My hard work and perseverance paid off and I got the offer to play the parallel lead in Rashmi Sharma Telefilms’s TV serial Muskaan. “I play the role of Jaya in the serial which was on air on Star Bharat. Jaya is a simple and straight froward young girl who is a victim of circumstances in her life.It has been a memorable experience for me to be a part of the serial Muskaan.”

Right now, Himanshi has taken a small break from TV serials and is trying to work in music videos as well as feature films and web series. Himanshi looks up to Priyanka Chopra as her fashion icon and adds that Alia Bhatt is her favorite actress in Bollywood. Himanshi, who is keen to do all kinds of characters, says “I’d love to play the roles of a spy or a detective and am also attracted to the characters of the girl next door. Romance is my favorite genre.”
