Nawazuddin Siddiqui wins “Achiever of the Year” at the JFF !

Nawazuddin Siddiqui walked away with the “Achiever of the Year” award at the 8th Jagran Film Festival.

An initiative by the Jagran Prakashan Group, the Jagran Film Festival (JFF) works towards creating a culture of cinema appreciation and a platform that connects great content with audiences across the country.

Nawazuddin was honored yesterday for his achievements in the field of cinema.

With films like Sarfarosh, Black Friday and Peepli Live he established himself a “dark horse to watch out for” . Later films like Kahaani and Gangs of Wasseypur acted as a turning point in his career as the world was introduced to Nawazuddin Siddiqui , one of the finest talents to come out from India.

Such was the impact the powerhouse star made that he soon became an integral part of big ticket commercial films like Talaash, Badlapur, Lunchbox, Kick, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Raees and MOM.

In his inspiring cinematic journey, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has played several memorable characters with great élan, but his latest release, Babumoshai Bandookbaaz went on to become his first solo hit. With the success of Babumoshai Bandookbaaz, Nawazuddin continues to pave the way for strong content, as despite being one of the most established artists, chooses to associate with humble budget films that look to push the envelope and offer something new to audiences.
