Jackie Shroff is making his debut in Gujarati films for the first time with ‘Ventilator’, an adaptation of Marathi film named ‘Ventilator’ directed by Rajesh Mapuskar which won three National Awards in 2017. The movie itself was banded so perfectly that there was no room for any improvisation but this difficult task will be carried by Niren Bhatt and Karan Vyas.
Niren Bhatt not being from the film background, but as one says talent always finds its way, so despite having a flourishing career as a Business Consultant undermining all the insecurities of the world Niren decided to follow his passion for writing. He started writing musicals while he was studying, it was his love for writing that drove him later to Bollywood, Gujarati films and TV serials. . He wrote for movies like Bey Yaar, All Is Well and Loveratri an upcoming film starring Aayush Sharma under the banner of Salman Khan Films. He has also written lyrics for more than 15 films including the latest Gujarati films like Love Ni Bhavai and Gujjubhai – Most Wanted, making him one of the most popular lyricist in Gujarat. He is also a writer for ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ which is the most watched and famed serial and has been on AIR since 2008.
Karan Vyas completed his film direction program from USA as his father was an avid film lover and sowed love for movies in him at very early. Vyas returned to Ahmadabad to chase his dreams and started assisting Mikhil Musale. Later Niren Bhatt, Karan Vyas and Mikhil co-wrote the film ‘Wrong side Raju’ which won National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Gujarati at 64th National Film Awards.
After working in Bollywood, Irada Entertainment is all set to work with versatile actor Jackie Shroff. Ventilator is produced by Falguni Patel and co- produced by Lawrence Dsouza under the banner of Irada Entertainment.
