Yashpal Sharma, who has acted in films like Aamir Khan’s Lagaan, Ab Tak Chhappan, Aarakshan, Apaharan and Gangajal in pivotal roles, works hard to get into the skin of his roles with effortless ease. For the sake of attaining perfection in his role in the latest film ‘Karim Mohammed’, Yashpal did something unbelievable. For twenty days, he wore the same costume even when he used to sleep at nights after the shooting was over and did not even bother to wash his costume till the film was complete, especially since he was keen on making his performance credible.
Director Pawan Kumar Sharma’s Karim Mohammed is slated for release on 24th August2018. Harshit Rajawat plays the role of Yashpal Sharma’s son in this tale which is about a father and his son. The film which drives home the message that terrorism is deplorable has already made the rounds of various international film festivals and won many awards besides garnering a lot of appreciation. The film in which Yashpal Sharma plays the role of a shepherd has bagged around 18 awards till date. The film deals with several issues including stone pelting lucidly.
The film produced by Ravindra Rajawat is being presented by Anhad Studios Pvt.Ltd.Jitender Gupta has edited the film,while Balkrishan Sharma has composed the music and Prakash Jha has edited it. Besides Yashpal Sharma and Harshit Rajawat, the film also has Alka Amin, Rajesh Jais, Ravi Janghu, Sunil Jogi, Anuj Vashist, Juhi Singh, Paras Vaidya and Veer Gujjar have essayed key roles in the film.
