Remember Kasim mechanic from raees and abhinandan of hassi to Phassi, this is how he looks now. A complete makeover.
So when we contacted the actor for the reason behind his transformation, Anil Charanjeett Said: “It is not for any film, it is solely for me. For my confidence and not for anyone else. It’s not that I’m not confident in my work. I am very confident and happy in my space. I believe External makeover Is the reflection of your internal life and once you are happy and content from inside it shows from outside as well, but I had to take a step ahead and ultimately it’s a visual medium.I had this look since a long time, say for the past 15 years.”
I wanted my face to look neutral so I thought to get a make over. It was giving me a character kind of look, so I wanted a new look where I can fit in to maximum characters, play a villian and a romantic hero at the same time.”
“Keeping in mind the glamour industry, I have learnt that one should work internally as well as externally. So this was an extrenal part of an actor which I felt is necessary in today’s time.”
When we asked if he got a makeover for a particular role or to get the audiences’ review, he said: “It’s not to get anyone’s reviews but to feel good , to get better and meatier roles apart from a comdey, or a villian or maybe a more lighter and good looking roles (laughs).”
On a concluding note he said, “Also, medically it was not good, it was unhygenic and might cause trouble later on. Thanks to doctor aditya and Bhumija Nair Who never made me feel that I’m going through a painful process. Well change is the law of nature and I’m no exception. So I felt the need to change it. Not being an actor but as a person.”
