Pankaj Tripathi is all Praises for MUM

Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi graced the launch of Akash Mihani’s short film “MUM”.

After attending the special screening held in Mumbai, Pankaj was all praises for the film.

He said, “The film in itself is so beautiful that my words are nothing in front of it. It is important that this film reaches the original village where this incident happened. This story should reach the masses.”

During the media interactions when Pankaj was asked about how he found the film, he said: “I loved the film. It’s a very sensitive and very important subject.”

“”He also praises the lead artist Gunn Mihani for her tremendously realistic work in MUM.”

This happens in our Country. If it’s a girl child then a lot of differences take place. So this topic needs to reach the people.

It’s a very beautiful film made with a lot of hard work and love. I wish the team of “MUM” all the very best. My warm wishes to the director and producer, Akash Mihani.”

“MUM is not a short film it’s a cinema”, said by many viewers during the screening in the festivals, Sound Design and Music are one of the key strengths of MUM. Subir Das has already shown his efforts for the message via Sound Design.

When asked him if such type of films with sensitive subject should be made more often, he said: “Ofcourse yes. As I always say, cinema is not just a medium of entertainment, some social issues should be reflected upon in our films.”

In fact, after watching such films, you take back a lot of things, you become a better individual.”

“That’s why, such films should be approved by the Government and screened in villages and remote areas to change their mentality towards girl child and specially people who feel that girls are a burden, it’s a must watch for them.”

When asked him if “MUM” will change the mindset of the people, he said: “Yes, ofcourse. Even if one man watches this films and thinks about this issue then it’s a big achievement if the film. It’s motto is achieved.”
